At Spacetalk, we’re wishing all the dad’s, stepdad’s and father figures out there a very happy Father’s Day!
Dad's play an enormous role in their children’s lives, so we want to take a moment to thank you for everything you do.
Thank you for:
Having a terrible, cringeworthy dad joke on hand for every situation.
Always finding a way to fix just about anything- the lawnmower, dishwasher, the fence and even the car!
Patience? Through all the tears and tantrums, you’ve become a master at it!
Picking them up when they fall and encouraging them to be strong and “keep on going”.
Yawning on the couch during a movie and eventually falling asleep, keeping the whole family entertained with your ear-splitting snores.
Fearlessly checking for monsters under the bed and in the wardrobe before bedtime. Every. Single. Night.
Admiring all their achievements: their first day at school and the day they made you a cup of tea for the first time.
Teaching them how to ride a bike, rollerblade, catch a fish and build the most amazing things out of Lego.
Holding them as a newborn and continue to hold and guide them as they grow (way too quickly).
Encouraging them to try again if things don’t work out the first time, and to never give up.
Reading their favourite bedtime stories over and over again because it makes them smile (and sleep!).
Supporting and being their guide through the highs and lows of growing up.
Driving them to ridiculously early weekend games (but seeing them on the field makes it all worth it).
Always being a good role model, teaching them how to overcome problems with strength.
You’re not just their dad: you’re their superhero, their mentor, protector and teacher.
From all of us at Spacetalk, we hope you have a wonderful Father’s Day.
