Spacetalk Adventurer 2 vs Pixbee Kids 4G Video Smart Watch - Price, Features and Safety Comparison

On the other hand, it’s not clear what glass the Pixbee screen is made from but you can purchase two packs of tempered glass screen protectors to go with the watch.

Available in a range of colours and complete with two straps included, you can easily customise the Spacetalk Adventurer to suit your child’s taste and style. The Pixbee is available in just three colours, which limits the opportunity for customisation. With that said, you can purchase a two-tone strap and buckle in three different colours separately.

While the Spacetalk Adventurer and the Pixbee share many of the same communication features, one of the key differences that sets them apart is their text messaging capabilities. While the wearer is free to reply to your text messages with the Spacetalk Adventurer, Pixbee wearers can only respond using emojis. 

One Spacetalk user noted how useful the communication features have been, especially if there are any changes to school pickup plans, “Got this for my 8 year old. It has been super helpful a couple of times I've been running late for school pickup. I can give him a call or send him a text to let him know.” 

While the Spacetalk Adventurer 2 features a broad range of connectivity, the Pixbee falls just short for not having Bluetooth capabilities.

With both the Spacetalk Adventurer and Pixbee, you can easily keep track of your little one’s location with the built-in GPS tracker. With both devices, you can log into your child’s smartwatch remotely to view their activity so you can worry less. 

Thanks to the built-in school mode, you can make sure your child won’t be distracted during class hours. Both of these smart watches block access to social media and the internet, so you can rest easy they won’t be at risk of distractions. Spacetalk users love the fact that this smartwatch is free from social media, with one user commenting, “My kids love this watch. Such peace of mind without overburdening them with all the social media and other issues that come with a cell phone.”

While both the Spacetalk Adventurer and Pixbee include a pedometer, the Spacetalk Adventurer offers a range of health features that aren’t available with the Pixbee including a heart rate monitor, alarm clock and calendar. These additional health features are great for supporting your child’s health and encouraging them to lead a more active lifestyle.

While the Pixbee smartwatch offers the longest battery time out of the two watches, the Spacetalk Adventurer can be recharged in half the time. So even if your child forgets to charge their watch overnight, they should still be able to get it fully charged in time to walk out the door for school. The Spacetalk Adventurer 2 also comes with twice the memory of the Pixbee and more than double the camera resolution at 5 megapixels.

As an Australian-based company, you can count on Spacetalk to provide local, dedicated email support. It’s not clear where Pixbee is based, but you can access email support via their online Smart Help Centre in the event you come up against any troubles.
