Spacetalk Adventurer 2 vs KidsOClock GL30 - Price, Features and Safety Comparison

The KidsOClock smartwatch has no monthly or yearly app fee.

With robust gorilla glass and a splashproof rating of IP67, you can rest easy knowing that either smartwatch is likely to withstand any knocks or splashes it may encounter in a day in the life with your child.

Available in a range of colours, you can easily customise each smartwatch to suit your child’s taste and style. With that said, you can choose two watch straps as standard with the Spacetalk Adventurer 2 whereas other swappable straps are sold separately to the KidsOClock GL30.

And with a parent-approved contact list, there’s no chance your child will have contact with anyone you haven’t given the clear to. When it comes to connectivity, both smart watches feature 4G network and WiFi connectivity. The only difference is that the Spacetalk Adventurer 2 comes with Bluetooth capabilities, meaning it offers superior connectivity across the board.

Both companies offer dedicated Australian-based email support for their products. Each smartwatch also comes with a 12 month warranty in case you come across any issues.

At this stage, the KidsOClock GL30’s availability remains relatively limited compared to the Spacetalk Adventurer 2, which is available for purchase through a number of retailers. 

The KidsOClock GL30 is a strong contender next to the Spacetalk Adventurer 2. While these two Australian-based companies have designed a high-quality kid’s smartwatch, the Spacetalk Adventurer 2 does take the lead when it comes to connectivity capabilities. Plus, you can pick one up at several different retailers, whereas the KidsOClock GL30 is only available through Amazon or their website.
