The Spacetalk Loop is the perfect first smartwatch for kids. Built for families who want the essentials without the complexity, Loop is made for kids aged 4 and up. It packs 4G calling, real-time GPS tracking, School Mode and SOS into a light, comfy watch they'll love wearing.
Stay safely in touch. Kids can call, text and send voice messages to Trusted Contacts you've added in the Spacetalk App. No one else gets through, so no stranger danger. And because there's no social media and no internet browser, there's nothing else pulling their attention away.
Always know where they are. Real-time GPS tracking shows your kid's location in the Spacetalk App. Set Places like home, school or grandma's, and you'll get an alert when they arrive or leave. Set Routes for the walk to school, and you'll know if they take a detour. If they need help, they hit the SOS button and their exact location goes straight to your emergency contacts.
Built for school days. School Mode silences calls, messages and notifications during class hours, then switches back on when school's done. Whether it's a smart watch for a 6 year old just starting school or a 10 year old in upper primary, Loop keeps the school day distraction-free.
Wellbeing built in. Loop tracks steps and activity, so you can keep an eye on how they're going. Kids can also send a feelings check-in straight to your phone, just by tapping an emoji.
The right size for smaller wrists. At just 53 grams with a 1.5" touchscreen, Loop is light, comfy and made for kids. A Gorilla Glass screen, soft silicone strap and water-resistant build mean it can handle the playground, the bike track and that puddle they swore they wouldn't jump in. The 36-hour battery1 gets it from drop-off to bath time. Pick from 10+ strap colours to make it theirs.
Made for Australia. Loop runs on the Telstra wholesale network, which covers more than 98.8% of the Australian population. A 4G SIM is included in the box, so there's no tracking down a kids SIM card from somewhere else.
Getting started. The Spacetalk App is included with an active Spacetalk Watch Plan - everything you need to call, message, track and stay connected from day one with a Spacetalk Watch. What kid age is the Spacetalk Loop best suited for?
The Spacetalk Loop kids smartwatch is best suited for parents looking to safely connect their kids without the need of giving them a smartphone. Spacetalk Watches is appropriate for kids, tweens or teens looking to gain more independence, and for parents looking to get better peace of mind knowing their kid is safe.
Do Spacetalk Watches come with a wearable SIM plan?
All Spacetalk Watches require an active and compatible wearable SIM to work.
Spacetalk Watches are soft locked to Spacetalk Wearable SIMs in Australia, the UK and USA. Spacetalk Wearable SIMs can be purchased via the website in Australia or we’ll direct you to our Telco partners in the UK and USA.
In all other countries, Spacetalk Watches are compatible with any SIM plan.
Are Spacetalk Watches waterproof?
The Spacetalk Loop has a dust and water-resistant rating of IP67, making it splash proof and protected up to a depth of 1 metre for a duration of up to 30 minutes.* *Splash, water and dust resistance are not permanent conditions and resistance might decrease as a result of normal wear. We do not recommend actively swimming or bathing while wearing a Spacetalk Watch.
Can Spacetalk Watches be used at school?
Yes. Spacetalk Watches can be used at school with School Mode enabled.
Through the Spacetalk App, parents can set School Mode to automatically limit features during school hours, helping reduce distractions in class.
While in School Mode, calls, messages and notifications are restricted, but essential safety features like location tracking and SOS remain active.
Is the Spacetalk Loop easy to set up?
Yes. The Spacetalk Loop is designed to be quick and easy to set up.
Simply download the Spacetalk App, make sure your wearable SIM is active, and follow the step-by-step prompts in the app.
