We had issue with the watch we received as it did not connect through the app. We sent it back but will buy another one as we have friends very happy with it. We were able to get a refund. Will get a new plan too.

I looked at another brand phone watch for our 9 year old, and compared to the spacetalk with the 180 day plan. Around $3.55 per week to have a phone and gps tracking is such good value, and peace of mind. I don't think he will use the 10 gigabytes data allowance in those 6 months as he mostly connects to WiFi when available. Great, and the phone is clear and works well!

The plan is ok. It's just another mobile network, so nothing to complaint about. However, there customer service (for the watch, not the plan) is terrible. They simply choose to ignore your emails for weeks. It took me neatly 2.5 months to get my under warranty watch replaced.

No. The mobile SIM can be used in a compatible smartphone, making it the ideal next step when your child transitions from a smartwatch to their first phone, while staying connected through the Spacetalk App.
Can I manage everything from the Spacetalk App?
Yes. Families can continue using the Spacetalk App for location sharing, Safe Contacts, SOS alerts and family communication, keeping everything connected in one simple place.

Can I keep my existing phone number?
