What is Spacetalk Online Safety?
Spacetalk Online Safety is a parenting digital safety layer to help families build healthier digital habits, without taking independence away from kids.
Instead of blocking everything on their phone automatically, it gives parents the flexibility to decide what’s appropriate to ensure their kid’s online experience is safe and positive.
Key features you will test for healthy online habits
Block entire categories - Quickly restrict potential harmful content like social media, gaming, gambling and adult content.
Block specific websites and apps - Tailor the experience by limiting access to individual sites or apps like Instagram, Snapchat, Roblox, Minecraft, Brawlstars and more.
Apply additional safety filters - Apply Safesearch search engine filtering, YouTube restricted mode and block common ways your kids could try to bypass restrictions.
What is the Spacetalk Online Safety beta test?
The Beta Test is a testing phase of our new features to safeguard kids from digital harm.
It gives a select group of parents early access to provide valuable feedback before it is released.
We're looking for your help on:
Ease of setup
How did you find the set-up experience? Was it simple to connect your phone and your child’s phone?
Effectiveness of filters
How did you find the restriction settings? What other filters should we consider?
Online safety experience
What did you like, what could be improved, and would you continue using it?
Missing features
What features could be added to improve your (and other parents’) experience.

Submit your details via the form below before Sunday 21st June 2026. If you are eligible, we will contact you by Monday 29th June 2026 with next steps to participate.
Participants will be invited into a group on WhatsApp to ask questions, share feedback and be kept up to date.
You will need to install the Spacetalk App on both your and your kid’s smartphone, and configure your online safety settings before Monday 29th June 2026.
Participants complete a weekly ~3 minute survey throughout a 4-week trial period.
Attend a final in-person interview to share your overall experience, thoughts and feedback.
