This is my daughters 3rd Spacetalk. I upgraded her from the Kids Spacetalk to the Life simply because the strap system is so much easier for her to manage with her special needs, ie. dexterity. It gives her more independence to use the click and release clasp which means she can take it off her wrist and be responsible for putting on charge and putting it on in the morning. The fall detection feature is also a positive in our situation. She loves it and we love the peace of mind of the features and safety function of Spacetalk.

We received the watch with instructions very promptly. Set up initially was a bit of a challenge but due to Telstra not activating the SIM. When we called to get assistance we were helped an awesome man who walked me through the process. Now we have a way of safeguarding our Dad (80) should he fall. The system works really well. We’ve tested already. I’m so impressed with the watch and remarkably Dad seems to be able to use it fine. We set the app up on mums mobile. So all the contacts are there for dad if we want to add them. Super product. So happy with it. Much cheaper than an Apple Watch and does all the things we need. Plus it looks like a watch which means Dad doesn’t feel silly wearing it. Like a device around the neck.
We have had Spacetalk in our family for just over 4 years, and we don't know what we did without it. It gives our boys' the extra freedom and security to be free range kids, and gives parents 100% peace of mind. We love the safe zones and school mode, our boy's love that they can message each other, or us, when ever they need to. We haven't got one negative thought on these great watches.
This is new so my husband has not really utilised the SOS (luckily) or other features. The watch is functioning is good, and we knew it would be because our grandchildren have all worn spacetalk's to school and we have recommended to so many people. The only real problem with this watch is that it is very hard to put on, it involved holding down the rubber band while with the other hand clicking the watch into place, very difficult and we are both agile. I would imagine impossible for many old people and he has to take it off to charge it.
A form of communication for our big kid who will be catching the bus soon! Such a fantastic idea to keep both parents and kids at ease.
Mum now has a new watch that I can also call her on whereas she never carries her phone with her. If she falls, I am alerted and I can see where she is at any given time via the GPS tracker. She finds the step tracker amusing as she rarely gets over 150 steps but I find it encourages her to walk more. Only thing is, I found setting it up a bit frustrating as I am over 60 and quite computer illiterate. Clear step by step instructions would have been easier but I got there by trial and error
After having issues with another brand decided to change to spacetalk. Best decision, works exactly how it should and haven't had any issues

Seems great! It did originally come with a broken charging dock but was quickly fixed and a new one sent out free of charge and express postage. Great experience overall and product does the job
Love the Spacetalk watches for my children! They can now safely go for walks, walk to school, walk home, all while not being distracted to the point that they have a screen to stare at while they walk.
I purchased the Kids Spacetalk watch for my 9 year old daughter for Christmas. The watch (and the App) are easy to use and it is comfortable to wear. I have contacted the support crew on a couple of occasions with questions about the watch, and the response I've received is awesome.
It's peace of mind for me knowing I can see where my daughter is and that I can call or message her. My daughter feels more secure when wearing it knowing that she can contact me at any time. I have set it to school mode so that she is not distracted in class and her school is completely supportive of her wearing it.
It's been a really positive purchase and I have recommended it to my friends with primary school aged kids.
We got a Spacetalk for our autistic/adhd child starting high school.
We use the alarm feature for reminders to assist in getting to class on time with the right books etc.
We use the calls & messaging function to assist with feeling supported throughout the day - no need to get anxious if you can call Mum and check in. As a bonus, I sometimes get little message saying "I love you"
We can see the future value in the location checkins as independence increases.
The watch functions and works well. The battery seems to drain quite quickly. I was dissapointed with how easily the screen cracked after only 1 week of use. I would suggest a more robust frame around the glass as it is marketed for young children and can expect to be treated quite rough.
This watch is really handy to keep in contact with your child whilst being able to let them have independence. Great quality as well.
I cannot say enough about this watch when it comes to all of the features and the peace of mind it gives parents. It was easy to set up after SIM was purchased.
My only indifferent feedback is the band can sweat a lot especially in Summer days. It would be great if different bands were available to purchase to save skin irritation, sliding off, etc.
My daughter loves her new watch, and it has been used multiple times already for organizing school pick-up and extra curricular activities. Best bit for the parents is that unlike a smart phone, there are no apps to distract them, and you get control over who can contact your child. Allows for more independence whilst staying contactable (e.g. walk home from school). Would recommend.

I am very happy with this purchase. My DS loves communicating with it.
I turned the phone on and tried to set it up using the included setup user guide. It didn’t work so I had a look for an online video. Still couldn’t get it to work. It asked to scan a QR code. Where is the QR code??? I’ll have to contact support for assistance. Hopeless
Awesome watch, excellent design improvements over the spacetalk kids version, and much better battery life.
So far so good, although we're still waiting on the sim card from Pennytel - so looking forward to seeing all the features working - will write another review then. Frustratingly the 2 yo grabbed it and threw it on the ground, but appears to have caused cosmetic damage only.
Watch is at the tightest setting on our 9yr old daughters wrist - it looks very large.
HR monitor is pretty unreliable/inconsistent - not sure that there is any realistic value in it.
